"Internet Council membership provides an 'eye opening' opportunity for the Federal Reserve.  Our retail payments business is mainstream, traditional, and well-defined.  Being involved with the Council exposes us to what the future of payments might be  --  that includes insight into consumer payments preferences, access options, business payments trends, barriers to adopting electronic payments, and payments innovations.  You might say that Internet Council membership encourages us to think outside the payments box." Susan Robertson, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
