BRADLEY W. SMITH, AAP

As the Director of Network Services of EastPay, Brad Smith is responsible for ACH operational support for the EastPay membership and various technical solutions for the Association. He earned his Accredited ACH Professional designation (AAP) from NACHA in 1998.

He is a current member of the Steering Committee for NACHA's Internet Council and is in his first year on NACHA's Rules and Operations Committee. Brad also represented EastPay's members on the Project ACTION development committee, an Internet based payment initiative directed by NACHA.

He currently serves as the EastPay's liaison to it's Rules & Operations Committee. This committee, comprised of member financial institutions, addresses the Request for Comments and ACH Rules initiatives proposed by NACHA's Rules Work Groups and then votes on these issues on behalf of the Association.

He has 5 years experience in ACH operations at a large regional bank in Virginia.
