About Us

The Internet Council was created in 1996 to facilitate the development of global electronic commerce by enabling businesses, governments, and consumers to utilize present and future payments over open networks in a secure and cost-effective manner. Comprised of financial institutions, technology providers, government agencies, and other organizations, the Internet Council convenes three times annually. Visit our website for details about upcoming meetings and current Council activities http://internetcouncil.nacha.org.
